    David, I really love your work! May I ask what kind of illustration board you are using? I've painted on clay board and canvas, but I really like the surface texture you are getting.

    Jay, I'm using Strathmore 500 Series Heavyweight illustration board with vellum finish, and prep it with three thin coats of gesso
